The Florida Association of Technical and Industrial Educators (FATIE) announced newly-elected officers at our annual business meeting held at Clearwater, Florida, on July 27, 2011. The following officers were elected: President Tom Hession of Palm Beach County Schools, Vice President Alan Lynch of Orange County Schools and Peter Pappas of Volusia County Schools, was reelected Treasurer. The office of Secretary and President Elect is temporarily vacant.  Chip Bashinski of Orange County Schools assumed the office of Past President. Kristey Richardson of Sarasota County, was elected to serve as a Board Member at large. She will help with communications, membership and other duties as assigned.

FATIE is a non-profit professional organization which works collectively toward the advancement and enhancement of technical and industrial education throughout Florida. Membership in FATIE is open to all Industrial & Technical educators.
